I am an abstract painter. I received my BFA in Painting from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I now live in Austin, TX, and paint primarily in oil, acrylic and encaustic. 
There is nothing more difficult for a truly creative painter than to paint a rose, because before he can do so, he must first forget all the roses that were ever painted.
