FineArtFridays:

I’ve been invited to band together with a group of online artists to help raise awareness of quality original artwork by actively promoting fine art through several online venues, including Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Tumblr, blogs and Etsy.

Fine Art Friday was created by Jessica Torrant to bring awareness to independent artists online. It began on Twitter and is now expanding to many other venues. Sarah John Afana is the co-manager of the Fine Art Friday movement and together we are putting together a number of ways people can show off and share their favorite art online once a week. It’s a day of celebration, of sharing and promotion of Fine Artists online. — Sarah John Afana

FineArtFridays on Etsy:

Did you know that you can find some wonderful fine art on Etsy? You may think of Etsy as a great online venue for finding crafts, but in the past few weeks, Jessica Torrant and Sarah John Afana started a group on Etsy to help you find the great fine art that is available there. Artist members already number over 140, and include painters, printmakers, sculptors, mixed media artists, and fine art photographers. Etsy Treasuries:

An Etsy Treasury is an ever-changing, member-curated shopping gallery comprised of lists of items. The lists contain 16 items. One way you can quickly see wonderful selections of quality fine art is to view the Etsy Treasuries curated by members of the Finding Fine Art group.
