To date, this is the smallest painting I’ve ever painted.  I also changed my still life setup for this painting.  I have a warm light lighting the “scene”, and there’s a cool light lighting my palette (which is between the scene and me); hence the warm and cool shadows that you see on either side of the teeth-clippy thing.
