Artists’ Studios

Just spent a lovely few minutes meandering through dozens of famous artists’ studios, courtesy of Joe Fig (who wrote the book “Inside the Painter’s Studio”, which I highly recommend, if you’re into such things).

Fig has sculpted artists’ studios here:http://www.joefig.com/blank …and artists in their studios here: http://www.joefig.com/blank-1

Here are a few of my favorite examples:

I love all of these; lots of inspiration for how to do a studio (if you had the space), and a few good ideas for taborets. I love Morley’s pegboard for tubes of paint and Fischl’s organized taboret with oh-so-many drawers!

Enjoy!

With me, it’s much more a matter of just accepting all these elements from the outside and then trying to work with them in a sort of collaboration.
