Pictures from the Davis Gallery and the Blanton Museum, 12-2010

Photos from to the Davis Gallery to see the really awesome wood sculpture of Caprice Pierucci, and the Contemporary galleries at the Blanton, taken while my husband and I led my brother on a sightseeing tour of Austin.

Pictures from the People’s Gallery Exhibition

I was so thrilled to be selected for the 2011 People's Gallery Exhibition at the Austin City Hall. One of my paintings, "Luminous Future," was selected from among 1400 pieces entered by 325 local artists and arts organizations.

Emerging from a Black Hole

It feels like I am emerging from something like a black hole. For the past month, I have been bogged down with several things that have interfered with my creative artistic endeavors...I can't wait to get back to creating artwork in my studio, which (with any luck) is just about to happen.

Look for and make your opportunities happen; they are not going to come rushing up to your doorstep. But sometimes they’ll be looking you right in the face.
