Hi, Ed,

Terry says there’s some oral lore from the San Francisco-Austin axis of furry freaks from the late ’60’s regarding the “fat man” (who is still a friend of Terry’s, though no longer fat). I asked him to write up some of the cool details he was telling me, and when he does, I will send you his story. I think you’ll like it.

Found what is supposed to be the Feat setlist for this show (Featbase): Skin It Back, Time Loves A Hero > Day Or Night, Representing The Mambo, Can’t Be Satisfied > Hot Tamales, Truck Stop Girl, Willin’, Dixie Chicken, Fat Man. I don't know if the songs on this list that we missed are right (they could have been played while I was mesmerized by the painter, so who am I to say)? However, my hubby concurs that they played "Oh, Atlanta" for an encore, and instead of "Rag, Mama Rag" as part of the marijuana medley, it was "The Weight." I think he's right. Neither of us remember them playing "Fat Man," and we would, 'cuz the fat man of the song fame was a friend of my hubby's.

Thanks, Barbara! I’m glad you liked it. We haven’t been going out much for music for a long, long time, but have vowed to do more in the future.

That’s so cool that David designed their wastewater system.

It is such a beautiful building — one of my favorite recently added places in Austin. Hope Marley does more good work like that. I love the iron railings on the spiral staircase, and feel like I know (or should know) who designed and created those, but it’s escaping me right now.

You could write music columns, that was a cool “review”.

Did you know David designed the “green” wastewater system at One World? He worked Marley, the architect who designed One World. I love Marley! Love his buildings and his crazy Gemini mind way of seeing/doing things!
David’s wastewater system is still working perfectly to this day!
